Your team keeps control.
PricingFocus is designed to help a manufacturer or distributor examine one defined pricing question without giving up control of its data, systems, commercial judgment, or implementation decisions.
Ten commitments
- You keep commercial control: PricingFocus does not set prices, approve discounts, change an ERP, contact your customers, or communicate a price change on your behalf during a Margin Decision Sprint. Your team validates the business context and decides whether to act.
- The question and scope are written down first: Before work begins, we document one question, the included files and record limits, the decision owners, timing, deliverables, exclusions, and any stated assumptions. Work outside that scope requires your written approval and a separately stated fee.
- Start with the minimum necessary data: The Data-Fit Screen uses field names and, where helpful, synthetic or de-identified sample rows. If the available data cannot test the agreed question, we tell you before the paid Sprint begins. We do not need production-system credentials, a full-company data dump, customer contacts, or confidential competitor information for the standard Sprint.
- You can inspect the evidence: Material observations are linked to an agreed source record, policy language, calculation, stated assumption, or disclosed limitation. You receive a traceable decision file and visible calculation logic where calculations are part of the agreed scope. Data gaps are labeled; they are not presented as precise results.
- We separate facts from judgment: Our work identifies what is observed, calculated, assumed, unknown, or recommended for your consideration. A recommendation is a decision option for your team, not an instruction, forecast, legal conclusion, or guaranteed business result.
- We protect the initial data boundary: Do not upload confidential records through the website form. After a Data-Fit Screen and, if requested, a mutual NDA, PricingFocus provides the approved transfer method and data-use instruction for the specific scope. The scope identifies the access roles, retention or deletion instruction, and client contact for data-handling questions.
- Public research is limited and documented: If public-market context is included, PricingFocus uses only client-approved, openly available sources. We record the source, access date, direct observation, and limitation. We do not seek or use competitors’ confidential prices, costs, bids, customer terms, or strategy.
- AI does not make the final call: Automation may assist preparation. A human PricingFocus reviewer checks every final material observation, calculation, and client-facing statement. Any AI-assisted work uses only the client-approved data handling stated for the engagement and does not replace human review or client judgment.
- We commit to decision-ready delivery: Within 10 business days after complete, accepted inputs are received, PricingFocus delivers the agreed Evidence Brief, traceable Decision File, and working review. If a listed deliverable is missing or PricingFocus misses the date for a reason within its control, the delivery remedy stated in the scope applies.
- We close out deliberately: At the end of the Sprint, PricingFocus provides the agreed deliverables, records the client’s file return/deletion instruction, and removes access according to the approved process. A single 30-day Owner Check is included to review the status of the client-owned action register and measurement plan. It does not include implementation or an ongoing service commitment.
